As we look up to the night stars in the heavenly sky we see a sight to behold. Beneath Her starry cloak Our Lady sits. In a cave of wonders She imagines heaven! She is the Goddess, a Lady of many faces all as beautiful as one another. As She dreams beneath the Moon so do we. Our Lady Hekate is a right one, a Crone of a Woman with wisdom to share. Beware of strangers! Friendly faces will appear on the darkest of nights. Welcome to wonderland says Alice! Beware of the Jabberwoky!
Watch out for the smoking caterpillars they may one day turn into moths or butterflies day or night they have Sight!
The Morrigan is a Lady of deeep dark night when all around is quiet the future bright the ever in Sight all alight! How can we best become One with the Goddess? Interesting question by all accounts, simply by letting yourself be true to the Beauty of Nature. By acknowledging there is a Goddess in Life you begin to awaken to the Truth of Her World. She be a many faceted diamond She be a twinkling star, she be another day to be evershining bright. Where are the bright sparks who keep the world alive? One day all will become true and the world will be true to you alone. The esssence of your prayers being answered in a way where all is well that ends well.

From the darkness....
From the darkness there must come out a light stay alive!
Forever entwined in a love song, the night fell! Fireworks were reminding us of days gone by when ancestry meant something. The bonefires a time to sit quietly and remember those who had fallen in battle or simply tired of life. How could anyone become so hurt or suffer so much that even life tired their weary heart? May the days of old be remembered this night with all the beauty of bygone eras, the time of the Keltic peoples of Britain and Eireland were strong beneath the waves of the sea laping at the shores of the land. as we reach new heights of passion. Simply said the new world approaches.
Wherefore art though Romeo?

Do the Morrigan thang!
Well I never did! Said the crow. "Mmmm" said the raven. "Quick smart" said the owl. "Like some fodder!" Said the cow. "Hiss!" Went the snake up the path slithering away. "Why now brown cow?" Said the owl. "I wish I knew" the cow cried. " Mmmm" said the raven. "Where to?" Hissed the snake. "The future is bright, the future is now!" Laughed the ravens. "It's deep dark night, we must wait!" Warned the owl. "The peace of the night is with us" thanked the crow. "Well I never did!" Finished the crow.
And so goes the tale of the "Morrigan's Call" . Happy Halloween to One and all!

our Great Lady Morrigan
Our Great Lady Morrigan is a wonderful being! She's high, she fly, she doth keep the world nigh on heaven!
What can we do to honour Her in our lives! This is a very personal thing as all faith is!! However the time spent in quiet prayer is the most vital to truly honouring Her. Raven's are quiet beings that believe in Life being sacred! The ravens of Earth help to protect sacred sites indeed in my Druid Animal Oracle we find that there is a raven pictured overlooking the White Mount. This sacred site of Ancient Britain is now covered by another quite different place we know as the Tower of London and guess who appears there still, yes everyone dem ravens are still there!! It is said that if the ravens ever leave this place then England will fall. So love dem ravens!
There are many ways to honour Her in ritual and truly sacrificng of yourself is to let go of the nasty bits of your being that no longer serve you. It is this essence of sacrifice in the New age which allows us to peacefully make amends and "make a bad tiing good!" to quote Rastamouse! She is known as a Goddess of battle and I find that she will ever shine upon your life of a Warrior Lady.

As we nurture Our souls, another true aspect of this Lady, we see the way forward and with gusto we live in strength and mercy. We find that by fighting for what we believe in we know that everything will be alright.
Be strong, be powerful, be true to thine own heart!
How can we create a ritual to honour Her?
Well I feel this would always be a Crone moon event. The waning moon haTH specail powers of shedding the skins of last cycle of the moon and moving on to the days of new life.
Perhaps the snake could be linked to this Goddess for this very reason.
Animals and birds of strength and power are real blessings to the Morrigan!
We have spoken of The blessed Raven and as you can imagine Crows are just as sacred to Her. The dark mysterious birds that the Morrigan finds her allies are wonderful to see in nature.
they bring news of good omens and wisdom we need for our lives.
Their foreboding presence can bring the happiness we seek and we learn to respect and honour their presence.
The Morrigan's call
Many a moon ago I did a web search for "Raven" as a totem animal and that is when I first discovered the aspect of the Lady I call "The Morrigan". She looked wild and powerful and full of raven-y knowledge.
This attracted my attention straight away and the web site I found was a wonderful plethora of wisdom about Her! I discovered a hidden world which has remained in my soul ever since!
This aspect of the Great Goddess reaches you when you are ready to understand Her!
A beautiful and wild soul who lets her wisdom shine!
To know Raven totem is to know a quiet place of prayer, most importantly is to believe in your Own truth!
For after all it is your own truth that brings you wisdom!
A special little dittie I read once says:
Research is the daughter of Lore
Knowledge is the daughter of Research
Wisdom is the daughter of Knowledge
There is more to it but it escapes me right now!!
This dittie helps us to understand that to study is all well and good and builds on your personal knowledge of a subject, however to speak with true wisdom is to await the birth of the daughter of Knowledge, that being Wisdom. Quiet moments spent pondering life are perfect for such a moment of Eureka!
As we travel life's path of good nurtured souls, we meet like-minds to share with!
This treasure of Life is to truly find a way to share of your knowledge with wisdom.
Without wisdom all there is, is facts and figures, with true wisdom comes new intimate thoughts that are personal to you. Speak your Own truth is a teaching of a raven-y woman such as Our blessed Lady Morrigan.
